Sustainable Christmas - Small Space Decorating

Even the smallest of homes deserve a festive makeover and it doesn’t always have to be a classic Christmas tree. These can be costly and not great on the sustainable front unless you buy a small living tree and plan to keep it to use for following years - we have a small forest of them now, all too large to bring in the house! 

You can create a fabulous alternative using foraged branches, or even better, nip along to your local garden centre and see if they have any tree trimmings going spare. 

Bunched together in jam jars and arranged around candles, you can create a beautifully scented table scape anywhere in the home, and you can add mini bows, and lightweight decorations to create the look and feel of a tree. The fragrance of cut pine also is wonderful for naturally scenting your home during the festive period.
